Summit Supply Limited — Privacy Policy Last updated: 25 August 2026
Summit Supply Limited (trading as "Summit Supply," "we," "us," or "our") operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, to give you a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). Summit Supply is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase through the Services, or otherwise communicate with us.
We are a New Zealand-registered company (NZBN 9429053788320) and this policy is written to comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Because we ship worldwide, this policy also addresses rights available to customers in the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions where applicable.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.

- Financial information: payment card details, financial account information, transaction and payment confirmation details.
- Account information: username, password, security questions, preferences and settings.

Where we get it
Directly from you; automatically through your use of the Services (including cookies and similar technology); from service providers who process it on our behalf; and from partners or other third parties.
How we use it
- Providing and improving the Services — processing payments, fulfilling orders, managing your account, arranging shipping, handling returns and exchanges, enabling reviews, and tailoring your experience.
- Marketing — sending promotional communications and showing relevant ads, where you haven't opted out.
- Security and fraud prevention — authenticating your account and protecting the store and its customers.
- Customer support — responding to enquiries and maintaining our relationship with you.
- Legal compliance — meeting our obligations under NZ law (including the Privacy Act 2020, Fair Trading Act 1986, and Consumer Guarantees Act 1993) and responding to valid legal requests.
Who we disclose it to
- Shopify and other service providers who support the Services (payment processing, analytics, customer support, fulfillment and shipping).
- Business and marketing partners, for advertising — you can opt out of targeted advertising based on cross-site activity; see "Your rights" below.
- Third parties you direct us to share information with (e.g. shipping carriers).
- Our affiliates or corporate group.
- As required in connection with a business transaction (merger, sale), legal obligation, or to protect our rights and the rights of our users.
Overseas disclosure
Because the Services are hosted by Shopify, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than New Zealand, including by Shopify and its sub-processors. Before we disclose personal information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps to ensure it will be protected to a standard comparable to the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, consistent with Information Privacy Principle 12. If you're in the EEA or UK, transfers rely on recognised mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or an equivalent, unless the destination country is already recognised as providing adequate protection.
Your rights
As a New Zealand resident, under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request correction of it. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to delete your information, receive a portable copy of it, or opt out of the sale or sharing of information for targeted advertising — you can exercise the advertising opt-out through your browser or device privacy settings, or by contacting us directly. If you're in the UK or EEA, you may also object to or request restriction of certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it.
We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity first.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, contact us using the details below. As a New Zealand business, you also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz) if you're not satisfied with our response. If you're in the EEA, you can find your local supervisory authority's contact details via the European Data Protection Board.
Security and retention
No security measure is perfect. We recommend not sending sensitive information through unsecured channels. We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Children's data
The Services aren't intended for children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us to request deletion.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the revised version here and update the "last updated" date.
